Everyone at this point knows that we have a serious crush on secretsundaze, one of London’s coolest parties. Take a close look at their original flyer art (enlarge!) and try not to fall in love either. They transform a plain yellow ball (2009′s first party flyer) into lots of creative images that go changing from party to party. Fab!
M.J. Flashmobs – the videos June 26, 2009
People around the world are getting together to celebrate M.J.’s legacy. What a lovely way to mourn.
San Francisco, California, yesterday:
Liverpool Street Station, London, this afternoon:
And last but definitely not least, Billie Jean, by the Londoner crowd. Goose bumps!:
M.J. flashmob June 26, 2009
Lots of people gathered some minutes ago at Liverpool Street Station, in London, for a massive moonwalk. The action, however, didn’t happen cos, according to our mate Thais Glittah, “people would be crushed”. Instead, they danced Thriller and Billie Jean. Amazing! Thanks to Glittah for the real time broadcasting. Ar-ra-sou!

The Burning Man June 25, 2009
In the words of Molly Steenson during the festival: ” You belong and you participate. You’re not the weirdest kid in the classroom — there’s always somebody there who’s thought up something you never even considered. You’re there to breathe art. Imagine an ice sculpture emitting glacial music — in the desert. Imagine the man, greeting you, neon and benevolence, watching over the community. You’re here to build a community that needs you and relies on you.”
You’re there to survive. You have to bring enough food, water and shelter because you will find no vending whatsoever. You are there to create, since nobody at Burning Man is a mere spectator. You are there to experience, find your love and understand each other. You go to celebrate and you’ll leave as you arrive. When you depart from Burning Man, you leave no trace.
Uh… the 2009 art theme is Evolution. Tickets are currently on sale on their website for U$280. Burning Man TV is also available on internet.
Alice in Wonderland June 22, 2009
Wonderland is situated in a neighborhood very close to Kinderland… and that’s why we love Tim Burton’s new project. They have already started the buzz, by putting out pictures from the movie where you can see Johnny Depp as a freakish-looking Mad Hatter, Helena Bohan Carter as the Red Queen, and Anne Hathaway as The White Queen, very very pale and the egg-shaped Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Matt Lucas).
It’ll be interesting to see what they look like in motion. Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland will hit theaters on March 5th, 2010.
