Inspired on Drags! June 19, 2009

Tom’s Drag is a new ornament  line designed to cheer up our lives! The philosophy is to create pieces of furniture and art that provide beauty and feelings of harmony and peace, using as base objects from faraway countries spiced with funny details.

Individual, colourful, eccentric, provocative objects and creatures remind us of breaking the rigid rules of the permanent status quo of stuff.

Sorry, there are too many pictures… but there is an infinity of nice things. Including a Volskwagen New Beatle with eyelashes, that you can see at Tom’s Company website. In Curitiba you can find some nice pieces available at Mantuanni Casa.

The eternal symbol of acid house parties back in the day when raves were illegal and people used to jack their bodies is trendy again. Or is happiness the word of the day? Whatever it is, SinK recommends that you never forget to smile. It’s enough. :-)

Preciclar! June 16, 2009

The fashion group “Centro Treinta Y Cuatro” used their window display to share with people a new trend: PRECYCLE (an alternative for recycle) that means: “Think, before consume, about the residues it might generate”. Very nice and creative as everything that they do.  You can find the store at Buenos Aires Palermo Soho but if you can not go there, at least take a look on their cool website.

Nobody at the office will ever mess with your mug again.

You can get this dirty-looking piece of creativity at Urban Outfitters.

 Where else could it be?

Brrrrrrrrr June 15, 2009

Berlin’s fame of being the coolest of the coolest cities is not really new to you, right? But Germany’s capital city can also be pretty cool in a more literal way.  In the trendy hood of Prenzlauer Berg, we saw restaurants and cafés kindly offering cute, warm and soft blankets. It’s a trend that we can see in cafés over here too. Curitiba is the coldest capital city in Brazil. Yes, Brazilian cold season can be harsh too. Forget the classic winter excuses  and go out for a well-deserved hot chocolate!

Moscow windows June 12, 2009

One of our top searches, right after New Kids on the Block (!), Ibiza, American Apparel and chicas desnudas (!!!!),  is visual merchandising. Therefore, to all visual merchandisers out there, a little spoil –  because you’re worth it. Exclusive photos of the most creative and outstanding windows in  Moscow, Russia. Sent by our lovely and talented coolhunter Chris Ortigoza.

As Cantoras do Rádio June 10, 2009

Documentário emocionante sobre a época de ouro do rádio no Brasil produzido pela Artelux e dirigido por Gil Barone. Curitiba’s got talent! Estreia sexta, 12, em circuito nacional. Imperdível e altamente recomendado.
