Green Wheels is a Dutch project, implemented in the Netherlands and totally accepted by citizens and visitors, with one thousand cars strategically positioned around Amsterdam.  So, if you are looking for a “greener” and affordable way to move around, you should consider this car sharing scheme, that you ‘pay-as-you-go’ and is cheaper than owning your own vehicle.  Rentals are charged per hour and you can book  online (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) an specific hour to pick up and return the car to a chosen point.  There’s a creditcard in the car for the gas. Fuel is included on the rental fee.
