See why we will forever love McQueen’s legacy. He did DIFFERENT things, he was innovative and brave and daring – and we think the world’s  desperately lacking peope who DARE.

FYI: This fashion show was inspired in Sidney Pollack’s movie “They Shoot The Horses, Don’t They?” (1969), starring Jane Fonda, which shows the craze of the dance marathons in the 1930s.

Curitiba is now hosting Paraná Business Collection, a tradeshow that aims to improve and foster the fashion market in the state. Last night, we attended local talent Jefferson Kulig‘s fashion show (coming up, dear kids).  Being this our very own fashion week, why not hunting for nice shoes as a follow up post to the previous one

Feet Fashion Week February 22, 2010

Vogue Brasil (unadvisedly)  suggests to put your statement shoes back in the closet for next season. Why? Erm… we’re not sure. This is what photographer Tommy Tom spotted during the fashion weeks marathon in London, NY, Paris and Milan earlier this month.

“Mind the Neck” is the cool way that Eco Organica found to sell their ecological scarves. Made of bamboo fabric and sold at Curitiba’s traditional hippie streetmarket every Sunday at Largo da Ordem, they teach you many different ways to wear your “foulard”, in summer or winter. Use, abuse and, if you want, send us some pictures of your own way to do it!
