Coco Rocha, one of the most sought after model in the fashion industry, posted her wedding films on her blog this weekend and it’s now creating buzz in the trend, fashion and wedding industry for their breathtaking visuals.

“Coco + James,’ directed by Gilbert Le, is a mini documentary of supermodel Coco Rocha and interior designer James Conran’s magical wedding. The 18-minute short film gives the world an insight into one of the most beautiful matrimony ceremony’s to have ever been caught on tape. Since both Rocha and Conran’s professions center around beauty in its varying forms, you can only imagine what wedding would be like. ‘Coco + Rocha’ is certainly for the hopeless romantic at heart.” Trendhunter

“The full Zac Posen wedding gown photo Coco Rocha posted on her blog last week has been quickly trumped by the two intimate wedding day films she posted over the weekend. “Once I saw these films I realized that though personal, they were too beautiful to keep to myself,” she wrote. Set on a June day in a French castle — the Chateau Challain — and to music befit of an epic film, Rocha’s wedding to James Conran is captured, complete with gown twirl shots and vow voiceovers. First, the three minute teaser, with footage of Coco and James on their wedding day. Then, the 18-minute short film, featuring Coco and James saying their vows to one another, more behind-the-scenes looks, and guest appearances from Behati Prinsloo.”

As odd as it sounds, Britain has launched a program to recycle chewing gum and “repurpose” it into tires, childrens toys and mobile phone covers. A government initiative, which runs from August 18th through September 15th will encourage people to dispose of their chewing gum correctly, into special bins placed throughout twelve towns in the UK that are participating in the Keep Britain Tidy 2010 Chewing Gum campaign. Click and play Gumdropbin game and web.

Councillor John Jarvis, said: “With statistics revealing that it costs the Government approximately £150m a year to remove 3.5 billion pieces of irresponsibly disposed of gum in the UK, it is important for Herefordshire Council to take positive steps towards helping reduce this amount… this is why we are so delighted to be working with Keep Britain Tidy and Gumdrop, and look forward to a successful campaign.”

Merci, dear Amely!

Mamma mia! August 31, 2010

Italy’s sense of moral is quite “elastic”, let’s put this way. Above, on the cover of this month’s Vogue Italia,  Miranda Kerr appears considerably half naked and in 3D, photographed by Steven Meisel. Below, Julianne Moore’s pose for Bvlgari that was banned and forbidden in Venice because, according the mayor Giorgio Orsoni, it’s “innapropriate and too ‘spicy’”. Mamma mia!!
