Coco Rocha, one of the most sought after model in the fashion industry, posted her wedding films on her blog this weekend and it’s now creating buzz in the trend, fashion and wedding industry for their breathtaking visuals.

“Coco + James,’ directed by Gilbert Le, is a mini documentary of supermodel Coco Rocha and interior designer James Conran’s magical wedding. The 18-minute short film gives the world an insight into one of the most beautiful matrimony ceremony’s to have ever been caught on tape. Since both Rocha and Conran’s professions center around beauty in its varying forms, you can only imagine what wedding would be like. ‘Coco + Rocha’ is certainly for the hopeless romantic at heart.” Trendhunter

“The full Zac Posen wedding gown photo Coco Rocha posted on her blog last week has been quickly trumped by the two intimate wedding day films she posted over the weekend. “Once I saw these films I realized that though personal, they were too beautiful to keep to myself,” she wrote. Set on a June day in a French castle — the Chateau Challain — and to music befit of an epic film, Rocha’s wedding to James Conran is captured, complete with gown twirl shots and vow voiceovers. First, the three minute teaser, with footage of Coco and James on their wedding day. Then, the 18-minute short film, featuring Coco and James saying their vows to one another, more behind-the-scenes looks, and guest appearances from Behati Prinsloo.”

Colour me in is one of many names given to this work of art created by a Berlin based and German artist called Hans Hemmert – Not easy to understand but very aesthetically pleasing. Now a small part of it is exhibited at MON (Museu Oscar Niemeyer) here in Curitiba. It composes part of the “Come-In” exhibition, a mix of installations of 25 German artists and its dammed cool. If you are in Curitiba, go check it!

Oswaldo Guayasamin, Ecuador’s renowned painter, sculptor and designer, was born on 6 July 1919 and passed away in 1999 and now Curitiba’s dear MON (Museu Oscar Niemeyer), brings a very nice exhibition of his paitings.

It’s all about human’s feelings and a deep trip inside his hardest feelings. Violence agains men is the main point of his work of art. Strong traces on character’s eyes showing pain, sadness and fear exposing and revealing the suffering caused by wars, dictatorships and social oppression.

Boom Boom Club brings the burlesque spirit to an amazing former Turkish bathhouse which has been restored to its Victorian glory and houses a cafe, bar, 80 seater restaurant and nightclub, in London.

It’s more then anything about performances, and more performances. The platter spread by Boom Boom boasts burlesque, rock n roll, exotica, swinging, dancing and overt amounts of fun. Miss Vicky Butterfly supplies and curates the performance art, and residents Bioux and David H spin the magic to make people dance all night long. Expect conceptual parties, interactive exhibitions, curiosities and late night performances with only one recommendation:  ”Think with your heart and not your head and you’ll get our drift.”

We keep on telling our clients that fairytale’s mood is a trend. We are all still trying to scape from stress and go back to our childhood. The point is that our inner kid prefers the villains better then the princesses. M.A.C Cosmetics got it (iuppi!) and is putting into the market the new Venomous Villains collections. Co-branding with Disney!!! How about that?

Video Game + Theater July 16, 2010

“Is art playable?  Are video games cinematic?  Are smartphones a stage?  Is there an architecture that connects these diverse media forms?  With the increasing maturity of the modern video game, the possibilities for multi-media cross-over artworks cry out to be explored”. This is all Game Play.

What if the characters and stories of classic video games were reimagined and reinterpreted as live theater in front of you?  Theater of the Arcade (five classic video games scenes adapted for the stage) is the most provocative and intriguing of four different shows mixing genres and styles that turned into an amusing and intelligent two-hour evening of short plays. It is tragic and comic staring Pac-Man and Mario Bros. Got it?

It happened during the Game Play festival – a celebration of video game performance art – at the Brick Theater in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, created to fuse the techniques and live presentation of theater with the themes, structures and technology of interactive electronic entertainment.

“It might be theater’s future”—United Airlines Hemispheres Inflight Magazine

“This is my new favorite theater on earth. If I lived within 500 miles of this place, I’d be there for every show.”
