Nossa festa preferida comemora dez anos com uma compilação que deve ser, no mínimo, incrível. Só pela capa, já dá para ver que vem coisa muito boa por aí:

O Lovebox é uma festival bacanérrimo que o Groove Armada organiza no Victoria Park em Londres sempre no mês de julho. SinK esteve lá em 2009 e estará novamente este ano, assim como no Sónar, dando um belíssimo update na miscelânea cultural que mostramos para vocês. O line-up deste ano começa a tomar forma mas ainda tem muita coisa TBA (=to be announced).

Secretsundaze, a festa preferida do Soma in Kinderland (depois do Sónar! 
), faz 10 anos e começa a temporada dia 1º de maio em um lugar secreto do leste londrino (uma tendencinha divertida do povo bagunceiro de Londres).
Vejam o que eles contam:
“We are proud to announce the official launch of summer with secretsundaze’s Opening Party on Sunday May 1st at a secret east London location. This is unbelievably our 10th year of running the party, so its a special year for us and indeed a special party for us. We wanted to avoid the time flies when you’re having fun cliche but ahhh, what the hell… we said it!”

Se vc está vivo, certamente ouviu o irritante refrão PAPANAMERICANO na última semana. Mas a o origem deste hit grudento de verão é muito mais emblemática do que alguém poderia imaginar. Nós contamos.
A versão original é um clássico da música italiana, Tu Vuo Fà L’Americano, gravado em 1956 em dialeto napolitano por Renato Carosone. A letra é sobre um americano wannabe.
Mas esta é a versão que mais satifaz os olhos: quem lembra de Jude Law (seduzindo qualquer coisa que se mova) e Matt Damon cantando naquele bar na costa italiana no filme “The Talented Mr. Ripley”? (-> assista no Youtube!!! )
