The artist Claudia de Lara has been around Europe searching for inspiration for her paintings. She got charmed about the hats in the window displays and sent us some exclusive pics to share with you, kids! Hope you like and let them make up your head.

Innocent office August 27, 2009

Festival fever July 27, 2009
Music festivals are as part of the summer in Europe as sunburnt cheeks. From late May to early October all bands and djs that matter have gigs booked at some open air party from Croatia to Scotland. There’s a festival fever in the air.
The pink press is in charge of the celebrity gossips, their (mis)behaviour, excesses, flirting and so on; Vogue picks the best festival looks (we’re used to see stylish chicks in Hunter wellies, especially in England, where summer can be very wet); the shops carry out “festival sales”; the brands work on another creative action to reach the young high-standard and desired audience that is not worried about money once they’ve crossed the main entrance. There’s even a festival-specialised store in London called Marsh-mellow that sells from tickets to tents.
Festivals are the perfect opportunity for trend hunting, style shooting, meeting people, misbehaving, celebrating life-love-friends, dressing up and getting wasted (!). Take a look at our selection of Lovebox’s colour pictures and get the feeling!

Ibiza 2009: the afterparties. All aboard? July 27, 2009
Since the afterparties were totally banned from the island last summer, Ibiza party people came up with a brilliant idea: throwing the post clubbing rendez-vous on a boat sailing in the sea. Every morning lots of embarkations leave San Antoni harbour towards somewhere peaceful in the Mediterranean where they can dance and celebrate without being bothered. Local and top djs line up to play and the cool thing is to rent a boat with your mates, your captain and your deejay and do your own private thing.
The only question is: what if you want to go home? Erm… maybe it’s not even a valid question…
Photo by DJ Rodrigo Brinko. Tomorrow, 28, alongside with DJ Rod Maya he will be playing at Puzzle party at Es Vive Hotel in Figueretas. And, guess what?, with a boat after-party right afterwards from 7 am until ….. who knows? Click HERE for more info.
Lovebox in black & white July 26, 2009
Last Saturday and Sunday London had its Lovebox weekender at Victoria Park. The 9th edition (SinK’s first) had sun and rain and sun and rain – in this order – and the Brit restless party spirit that we love so much. Nobody in this world parties like them!!
Two big stages for big and not so big names (Duran Duran, N*E*R*D aka Pharrell Williams, Friendly Fires, Groove Armada, etc.), three amazing electronic instalations by secretsundaze; Disco Bloodbath/ Horse Meat Disco; and a Rizla into-the-woods space with Xpress-2, Diplo, Bill Brewster and Frank Broughton, Dan Black, etc. Long queues to get in and a lovely disco and funky house vibe. Amusement park and a Mexico area playing live band and mariachis, with folk Mexican characters and José Cuervo free hats. Coming out from the speakers basically (and thanks God for that!) nu disco, old disco and all kinds of deep funky soulful beats.
Happiness on the dancefloor is no longer a trend; it’s real. All in all, it’s all about feel-good music and having fun, playing around, put your fluo make up on, your wellies and do the d.a.n.c.e.!
In this first coverage, gorgeous black & white photos by Nick Ensing. Enlarge for proper appreciation!
