Very poetic and creative video by Javi Arriaga.

The coolest thing about it, is that it was produced aiming to give a different approach to Berlin International Film Festival’s  application form, and, of course, it worked!

He had 60 seconds to introduce himself.

This is the result but we hope Javi tells us more about this story on the comments later on…

Keep producing, dear friend, because SinK loves Debauchery Bits!!!

” MANYFESTO
 Debauchery Bits Series:

First goes music, you know you are making it for a soundtrack but you don´t know still what the image will tell. Then, the music tells you a story, in that exact “momentum” you just fill the blanks with the footage that you already took for this certain story without knowing it…
Is it poetry? visually storytelling experiments? It´s only feellings substituted by textures and rythms, moving pictures and sounds to the soul.”

SinK TV: Exercising at Unusual Places August 13, 2009

SinK invites you to  lay back, relax and enjoy our hot new series: “Exercising at Unusual Places”. Proudly amateur, carefully witnessed and recorded live. Just let these freakies make all the effort.

SinK TV: Inside Café Mambo August 11, 2009

A quick tour inside legendary Café Mambo, in Ibiza’s Sunset Strip. The year is 2006, last summer before that awful wood deck, linking Mambo, Cafe Del Mar and Savannah, was built over the rocks.

Soma in Kinderland TV is on air! August 9, 2009

As part of our plans of world domination, SinK has created Soma in Kinderland TV, a channel on Youtube where you can watch our homemade videos, absolutely amateur and unpretentious, about the stuff we like to write about, which means, a little bit of everything. We’ve uploaded 8 videos to kick off. The philosophy is that if we recorded them at some point in the past, it’s because we thought it might be useful at some point in the future. Got it?

SinK TV is on! Tune in!

You can watch by now stunning shaky images of (all links!)

- Massive Attack performing live The Hymn of The Big Wheel in Barcelona
- Dj Leozinho spinning his vinyls at Warung last Friday,
- a quick tour (very quick!) at Blue Marlin in Ibiza,
- Bob Sinclair playing World Hold On at Pacha Ibiza,
- Erlend Oye singing (and complaining) at Era Só o Que Faltava in Curitiba,
- DJ Sneak housing it at Lovebox Festival in London
- DJ Bill Brewster dropping nu disco tunes on a dancefloor sponsored by Rizla also at Lovebox,
- a real step class in the middle of The Egg’s dancefloor in London.

This last one being the weirdest thing ever seen in a club. And this, meus amigos, is just the beginning.

Don’t forget that your participation is more than welcome, kids! If you have any cool video you’d like to share with the world, for any reason we won’t judge, send them over! Our email is somainkinderland@gmail.com. Subject to approval, bien sur.

M.J. Flashmobs – the videos June 26, 2009

People around the world are getting together to celebrate M.J.’s legacy. What a lovely way to mourn.

The nu groove May 30, 2009

“A new musical scene emerge... Called indifferently Neo-Disco, Cosmic Disco, or Space Disco, a new style is raising from clubs in New York, London, Paris, LA or Tokyo. Far from the somehow dusty sound of the 70′s, the NuDisco scene reinvest the disco imagery, somewhere between abstract, electronic, and dance music more “djable” as some of the producers say. Giorgio Moroder is not so far.”

Nu Disco is paving its way to becoming a huge submovement into the electronic scene itself. It’s a breath of freshness into a market overloaded with repetition and lack of creativity. Having realise that, the French video collective  FatCat Films  have put together interviews, testimonials and other cool bits of important players such as Aeroplane, Cosmo Vitelli, Runaway, Hercules & Love Affair, Hot Chip etc.. in this short documentary. The blossoming of a brand new (well, not ‘that’ new…) happening fully documented.
